Well it's the last Monday before the holiday season gets into full swing. Many people are already traveling or in full freak out mode because they're just so busy .
I like to think that in some small way these Monday Minute edits offer just a tiny reprieve from the madness, a temporary escape into a a much simpler world where it's just a fun car and some good music.
For this edit I chose to use a track by Gary Clark Jr. from Austin, TX. At only 30 years old he's been hailed as one of the best guitarists in the world and the future of the Texas blues. I think the easiest way to describe him is just, a raw talent, not unlike the ZL1.
Both have unique eye catching style, create some of the sweetest sounds known to humanity and are enjoyable at any speed, though I prefer both when going fast. They are bright spots during bleak times in their communities and I think it's fair to say they give me hope for the future.
There's an appreciation for those that paved the way for their success, that's quite clear. However they're not content being "the next _____". No, they're going to forge their own path and help redefine their genres.
American icons in the making, it's a beautiful thing.
Andrew Maness writes about cars because he has one and also has a computer. He's been known to drunkenly Tweet as

and upload photos to

. He also has a

and thinks talking about himself in the 3rd person is really weird but knows it's necessary if he wants to be taken seriously as an automotive journalist.

Doesn't seem like you gave it full throttle in the tunnels or was it just the way the audio picked it up? Also, I really don't like this color on the ZL1, black is much better. Although I'm guessing the one you drove was a press car. I'm also disappointed the ZL1 doesn't have a more aggressive diffuser.

Yeah it's just the way the audio picked it up, I had my foot to the floor in both tunnels for as long as traffic allowed. I'm getting an external mic for the GoPro soon so that'll make a big difference in the future.
I like the black a lot too but the silver makes for good shots because of how it pops. I think it's a great looking car no matter what color you get it in...except for yellow, fuck yellow.

Agreed. Yellow is not a great color choice for this car.
